FAQs
What should I bring to class?
If you own a hip scarf you should bring it with you to class. If you do not own your own hipscarf then you will be able to use a loaner scarf during class. We sell brand new hipscarves through our store! You can find them here. Make sure to also bring a water bottle so that you can stay hydrated.
Where are you located?
We are located at 190 Wortley Rd, Unit LL5. The building is on Wortley Rd across from Value Mart. Please access the building through side door near the pharmacy and proceed down the stairs to the lower level.
Is there an age limit on classes?
We do not have an age limit, and our students vary in all ages. Our only requirement for age is that all younger students are able to follow directions during the hour long class.
What if I miss a class?
You can make up the missed class by attending another class of the same level or a drop in class. We also post weekly choreography videos for practice through the student portal.
How many beginner sessions should I take before I move up to beyond beginner?
Taking a handful of beginner classes before moving to the beyond beginner class is the best way to become comfortable with the fundamental steps and with learning to follow choreography.
