To get started, you will need a uniform (gi), which can be purchased through our school, and a mouthguard (optional but highly recommended). We also recommend getting grappling shorts or pants, as well as a rash guard or t-shirt to wear under your gi and for no-gi training.

If you train regularly, you will make progress. We have students who train once a week and others who train almost daily. We recommend that students train at least two to three times a week to make steady progress and see results.

While there is always a risk of injury in any physical activity, our instructors prioritize safety and take precautions to minimize the risk of injury. We also encourage students to listen to their bodies and communicate any concerns or injuries to their instructors.

It's normal to feel intimidated or uncertain when starting something new, but everyone starts as a beginner. Our instructors provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where students can learn and grow at their own pace.
