At home, in the tee box, or at the range. n1) External Rotations: our trailing arm needs to be able to externally rotate at we swing the club. This drill is great for warming up and increasing range of motion. nYou can do a static hold, or make it more dynamic by pushing back into the club with your stretched arm.nn2) Hip & Shoulder Disassociation: Hips and shoulder need to be able to rotate independently of each other as we build power in our golf swing. nKeep the shoulders locked in place while rotating your hips, then keep your hips in place while rotating your upper body!nn3) Tee Box Flow: Golf is a rotational sport. FAQs
Are your workouts suitable for beginners?
Yes! Kelowna Bootcamp is an excellent workout for all fitness levels, including beginners. Moves can be modified to be harder or easier to accommodate injuries, pre/post-natal, or those new to fitness. Trainers are always on hand to provide guidance and ensure all participants are safe.
What are your workout classes like?
Our gym does not have big, intimidating equipment. Instead, we focus on a combination of cardio and strength movements in a group setting. We play motivating music, and our trainers and community all encourage each other along the way.
Is there any equipment at Kelowna Bootcamp?
The types of equipment we incorporate into our workouts are dumbbells, kettlebells, battle ropes, bosu balls, TRX, plyo boxes, and resistance bands. We have many sizes and resistances to suit all fitness levels.
What type of goals can I achieve working with Kelowna Bootcamp?
Our workouts are designed to optimally burn fat, increase strength and improve agility. So, whether you are out to lose weight, train for a marathon, or just be less of a couch potato, our workouts can be tailored to get your desired results.
What are the types of classes you offer?
Variety is the spice of life which is why we are constantly rotating the type of workouts we offer. Kick boxing, strength training, circuit training, aerobic, plyometric, balance, and stability are just some of the types of movements we incorporate into our classes. You will never be bored in our 30 minute classes!
