Yin Yoga is a complimentary practice to other yoga styles. Yin Yoga focuses on lengthening and stretching the connective tissues including your fascia and ligaments targeting the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. Yin postures are held for three to five minutes, giving the body an opportunity to open and release tension from deeper tissues. You will leave this class feeling more open, flexible, peaceful, and calm within your body and mind.

Shannon is an amazing teacher and truly has a passion for sharing her gift!
After several years of inactivity and family responsibilities I re-started my Yoga this fall under the support and direction of Shannon, in the comfort of her studio.
Shannon is very kind and patient and offers multiple variations for poses that work for your body and how you are feeling on a particular day.
I'm fairly new to yoga and was a bit apprehensive to attend classes but it has been such a great experience.
Her Flow and Barre classes are my favourite but she offers all types of yoga classes and will cater them to all skill levels.
Very patient and amazing instructor with an absolutely beautiful studio as well!
I’ve practiced for a few years but have some limitations so her attitude of doing what my body would allow was great.
I sometimes find it difficult to “make the time” to attend her class but regret it every single time I “skip out” or miss registering for a session.
She keeps all her classes personal and is able to treat each of us individually when doing our positions/stretches.
I took classes with Shannon before but I’m the last 6 months I have been taking restorative and gentle yoga with her to recover from cancer treatments and I feel it has made a huge improvements in my movement and mental health.
