We had an absolute blast at the Roll Academy Jiu Jitsu Tournament yesterday. This was the first tournament post pandemic that our team has attended in force, with our largest out of town competition team of 30 competitors strong! n.nOur team won the Team trophy in the adults gi division, with a total of 6 gold medals, 8 Silver medals and 7 Bronze medals. It was so great to have the entire team matside cheering for our team mates in force for many of the matches. n.nAs coaches, we were so impressed with the technical performances, as well heart, determination and overall attitude of our competitors. There were incredible displays from our athletes in both the juvenile and adults divisions that left our jaws dropped as fans and had us proud as coaches. n.nFilip and Val have done an incredible job putting together a smooth and well run tournament, which is no easy task, especially post covid. Thank you guys for putting wind in the sails of the Jiu Jitsu community through your tournament. This provides great value to us all. n.nCongratulations to all of our competitors.
