Following up on my last post, I breifly mention that rotational volume should be carefully monitored to avoid overuse injuries. An important quality such as core stiffness/anti-rotation should be prioritized in training as well to help counteract the amount of rotational volume. nnThis can be acheived through exercises that specifically target this quality and/or even heavy multi-joint compounds that require a high degree or abdominal pressure/bracing.nnIn the video above, I give a couple examples that promote this: ní ½í´¹ Anti-Rotational Chops ní ½í´¹ Trap Bar DeadliftsnnMake sure to identify possible key issues and apply mitigating measures to keep yourself healthy throughout the whole training block(s).nn#strengthtraining #strengthandconditioning #strengthcoach #coaching #coachingvancouver #plyometrictraining #athleticdevelopment #richmondbc #onlinetraining #forceproduction #golf #golftraining #golfstrengthandconditioning #dodgeball #dodgeballstrengthandconditioning #throwingsports #dodgeball #singleleg #singlelegstrength #dodgeballstrengthandconditioning #pitching #throwers #rotationalpower #baseball #baseballstrengthandconditioning #rotationalsports...
