I love this school! Judy has a knack for finding the best teachers! I took voice lessons, for many years, at Wandering Minstrel. Sadly, I had to stop my lessons as I returned to university to become a teacher. Recently, I came back, as I'd been asked to sing at my brother's wedding. My new teacher, Maciej, was wonderful! He helped me to get rid of bad habits and find ways to access different parts of my voice. Thanks to Maciej, I had numerous people approaching me, after the wedding to compliment me on my performance at the church. Friends, who are very knowledgeable about music/voice, were amazed at how my voice had grown, and matured, Maciej was kind but firm. I enjoyed his patience, teaching style and energy - every lesson was filled with many tips and tricks to improve overall technique and understanding of musical theory.
My teacher, Oksana is phenomenal and a great teacher.
Teachers are patient and friendly, and give at material to work on whilst at home until next lesson.
If you are looking for an amazing school with top notch staff, then look no further!
Enjoy a coffee or a gelato in the neighbourhood while visiting, or stop for lunch or dinner at one of the many excellent restaurants.
We really appreciate how in-depth the classes are and go beyond just playing the instrument but also knowing how to maintain and care for it.
I reccomend any musician or aspiring musician to take some lessons to refine their craft or learn some new skills!
He was very accommodating, great attention to detail, had a fun selection of songs to work through and was incredibly patient as we worked through the basics of chords and notes.
I had to flip through many teachers over the years and each and every one of them was very knowledgeable and helpful in teaching me through these years.
We are moving out of town so won't be attending any more but I would strongly recommend Judy and her team of musical teachers if you are looking for a great place to learn.
