Both my son and myself started training here since last November. We both love this place. I always want my son to . .. learn martial arts to gain some displine and self-confidence. But it is so difficult to squize more time from evening or weekend given how many curricular activities he already has and how busy I am as a working mom. Luckily, I found The Martial Training Centre, where offers the after school programs with both training and homework done between 3:30 to 6pm. They pick up my son from school at Markham! I only train there once or twice a week, but I started to feel my body getting more flexible and more energetic. All the instructors are very friendly and professional. My oldest daughter also attended summer camp at TMAC and had a great time learning so many things, including scootering and art!
This place offers robust supervision, guiding children on what activities to avoid.
Also hassle free for the parents, the centre prepares everything for you.
Sorry I cannot share any photos of the bouncy castle or the of Upstairs area where there is viewing gallery and a second gym upstairs TMATC has for use (but we did not need it)
They now have regular in house tournaments that are a lot of fun to watch and really motivate the kids to improve.
Third my son had behaviour issues at home and it got to the point where every weekend was a night mare but now with Jack and Mary Lous help he is starting to behave at home.
The coaches are exceptional, not just in their expertise but in their ability to make each child feel valued and excited about their journey in martial arts.
Had a children's birthday party here and it was awesome.
I have attended every day of the week to meet all the different instructors for the classes and i can honestly say they have been nothing but polite and willing to speak to the parents on improvements and anything you can be working on at home.
