Mizu Studio Jiu-Jitsu

Translated as «the gentle art», Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu focuses on using strength and technique in the most efficient way possible to control and overcome opponents of greater size, strength and aggression. I joined in for a complex class which was explained so even a beginner could understand and follow along.
We attended the women's class on Sunday and it seems like this particular class attracts a series of regulars who normally train at other surrounding gyms, in addition to those who train at Mizu.
After testing different gyms, without a doubt on my part, Mizu Studio is THE best jiu-jitsu gym in Montreal for anyone who wants to start or continue learning for pleasure or to compete.
Enjoyed seeing many different styles and I definitely see myself becoming a full time Mizu student in the future, a 5 star first time experience.
Vibes, rolls, facility 11/10
I finished the 12-week beginner jiu-jitsu class a bit over a month ago, but have continued attending the beginner sessions as well as the no-gi advanced sessions.
As someone who did exclusively gi in the past, I find their beginner no-gi class very useful (not only for beginners but anyone that wants to brush up on their basics).
Lots of oss and great jiu jitsu!
World class jiu jitsu installations and coaching staff (the IBJJF nogi world champion 2022 teaches there.
Mizu, a second home!
