We were so excited to find [The School Of Dance] . Not only does director and teacher Kristen Dennis have an excellent ballet pedigree (National Ballet School and Company etc. etc. ) she is also a fabulous teacher – particularly of children. Children get a strong foundation in technique but they also learn to enjoy dancing with creative time in each class and also several performance opportunities on real stages. MM Camps are fun for the kids, with a wide variety of activities with impressive teachers (e.g. art taught by an OCAD grad). Movie Nights are fun for kids and give the adults a chance to have a “date night”! I can't say enough good things about [The School of Dance]!

Our family got to experience the recital for the first time this year.
They are always focused on cultivating the love of dance in their students, as well as providing the instruction and feedback to help their students develop.
I am so impressed with the instruction and choreography of the teachers, and they are all amazing with the kids.
The school is more than a school, it had become a second home, a place of dance love nurturing and friendship bonding…with both the kids and parents alike.
When she had to do a presentation at school on her favorite place she chose the Leslieville School of Dance and Music.

At our first competition of the season last weekend, the studio was very competitive and received metals and awards in all categories.
As a new family entering into the world of competitive dance with an 11-year old, we chose Leslieville School of Dance & Music on the recommendation of a very close friend (and former professional ballet dancer).
They have surrounded themselves by dance and music teachers that they know for many years, and they treat them well, and it is reflected in the quality of the classes and the love and care embodied by each or the teachers (we have had Jen, Julie, Maddy, Haruka, Kelsey, Christina, and more, they are great!
