Ferraro Karate and Martial Arts is a family oriented dojo located in the Downtown Core of "The Royal City," Guelph, Ontario. An officially recognized dojo in Hanshi M. Nakazato's Shorin-ryu Shorinkan Association from Naha, Okinawa, Japan, Sensei Stephen Ferraro (B.A., B. Ed. ), an Ontario Certified Teacher, and Sensei Darryl Bennett, an Ontario Certified Personal Trainer, are committed to promoting quality traditional Okinawan Karate (Empty Hand) and Kobudo (Weapons) to students of any age. Sensei Stephen Ferraro has been training for over 30 years and has been teaching karate as an instructor since the age of 14, while Sensei Darryl has been Sensei Ferraro's top student for over a decade.

Renshi Stephen is a true Master of the Arts and very passionate and knowledgeable Sensei.
She can't wait until class starts because she love the work and drills that they do (with exception of half burps) but she does them.
Great gym great coach the kids really seem to love it
I’ve brought my other kids when I’ve had no child care and often Sensei Steve offers to lend a hand especially if I wanted to participate in adult classes.
One of the best martial arts gyms I've ever been to, highly recommend you check them out!
Sensei Ferraro is dedicated to teaching quality Martial Arts with a strong emphasis on fitness and fun.
It was very intimidating the 1st time walking into a dojo, but Sensei Steve and Sensei Darrell made me feel right had home, but most importantly, that I was capable!
More importantly, his dedication to his students and his unconditional support to their improvement, both as karateka and people within their community, is exceptional.
Sensei Jordan and Sensei Prem are very disciplined black belt student-instructors who help facilitate the classes and do an absolute excellent job.
They say “it takes a village”, and Sensei Steve is always just a phone call away to take you and your kids’ needs to heart, and works on developing these children into functional adults.
