I still find it hard to believe that I can sit down at a potterâs wheel with likeminded, curious, creative people, and theyâll take a few moments out of their every day rush to listen to me show them a few new techniques. Teachingâ¦ I am so grateful that I get the chance to do it. While intimidating at times, with a side plate of imposter syndrome, these wonderful people allow me to guide them through the process of working with clay.nnI can tell you that nothing gives me more joy than seeing a student have a breakthrough in this art form, and for that moment where they realize that theyâve done something they couldnât have done beforeâ¦ it means more to me than almost anythingâ¦nnSo, past.. current.. and future students, thank you for giving me that chance (as well as taking me as I am, with a whole lot of sass and sarcasm) and trusting me to guide you along.
