Karis Wiebe Studios is thrilled to welcome Bill Wallace to host guitar master classes. Bill Wallace is a Canadian bassist from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Wallace started his musical by playing euphonium in the Sea Cadet band, and one of the drummers asked him join his band called the Ramrods. “After one gig, we folded. I then played in the Cavaliers, the Syndicate, and the Shondells before forming the Gettysbyrg Address.” (B. Wallace) He continued his musical career in the 1960s with the Winnipeg band, Gettysburg Address. He later performed in bands such as, Logan Avenue Comfort Station, and Dianne Heatherington and the Merry-Go-Round. He eventually joined his friends Kurt Winter and Vance Masters in the band, Brother where Wallace was the lead singer and bassist. Brother was on its way to becoming the most popular rock band in Winnipeg, however, Wallace found himself soon thereafter joining the Winnipeg band, The Guess Who. Mr. Wallace co-wrote the eventual Guess Who hits "Bus Rider" and "Hand Me Down World" with Masters and Winter. He wrote and co-wrote many Guess Who hits including "Clap for the Wolfman", "Road Food", "Follow Your Daughter Home", and sang lead on "Bye Bye Babe".
