I started training BJJ 15 years ago and have spent the last 10 years training with Eric as my coach. Eric is not only an accomplished competitor, but also the most dedicated coach to his students - regardless if they are competitors or hobbyists. When I started BJJ I was over weight, shy and I didn't realize how much mental strength and willpower I had. I was fortunate to have started with a great team, and it got even better when Eric became my coach. He created an environment I felt comfortable to be in and he was able to get the best out of me. I lost a pile of weight, and in that environment I became an outgoing person. It's a family environment and the largest part of my personal identity now. I finally found my tribe.
