Welcome to Lake House Stables, a state of the art hunter jumper equestrian facility, situated on over 110 acres in the heart of Durham Region, ON. This central location makes for a quick and easy commute from most locations within the GTA, including Brooklin, Uxbridge, Port Perry, Stouffville, Ajax, Pickering, and Whitby. The farm is owned, operated and loved by the Newell Sakaguchi Family. Our goal is to deliver exceptional customized equine care and to facilitate the development of all levels of riders to reach their own personal goals.

Beautiful place
I love this place
The only negative is that there is no A/C - I understand that it's in a barn - or fan for that matter, and it's very warm.
Very friendly and professional staff.
The coach kept me at a lower level than I was at when i arrived for the whole time I stayed there, when I asked her what I could to to improve she never gave me a clear answer, tack up staff and coaches were professional and somewhat welcoming but I have to say most of the girls riding here aren’t, they constantly shamed people for their riding level and just hung out in the warm room binding from the coaches.
They take really good care of our 9 yr old daughter and all the beginner riders and give them the care and instruction they need.

Lake House is a top notch facility with amazing coaching and staff who are very knowledgeable, professional and caring .
All the horses and facilities are well cared for, owner is professional and organized (seriously - I don't know how she keeps on top of everything they have on the go!
Weather you are just riding for fun or riding to show on the A circuit, you will enjoy your lesson and come away with new information each time.
