Inner Fire Martial Arts and Life Skills

Martial arts have been seen as a way to instill confidence, self discipline and a sense of community for practioners of any age and background. Inner Fire Martial Arts and Life Skills strives to do this and more through what we call "Coach's Corners", a period in each class where we talk with our students about topics that might be important to navigating our modern world. They could range from building healthy communication skills, dealing with bullies (for kids and adults alike) to learning anatomy and physiology. Conducted with complete acceptance and humour, our sole intent is to provide students with the tools to succeed in life. Show Less

He is good at adapting skills for different levels and can teach beginners and more advanced students at the same time while ensuring that everyone is having fun.
My daughter loves learning martial arts with Ian.
We are really enjoying watching our son learn martial arts skills and life skills in the class
Very beginner friendly class, with an eclectic mix of different martial arts - stick work, kicking, punching, grappling, etc.
I have 3 kids ages 6-20 (the 6 year old is in lil Ninjas) and Ian is hands-down my absolute favourite instructor of all the teachers, activities, classes, everything my kids have ever been enrolled in.
Great environment
Also, they really put a lot of efforts into building connections and a community here.
Practical skills for self defence and body awareness.
