Great people and awesome learning experience!
Coja is a great place to learn this wonderful thing we all love so much.
Best music teachers in Canada!!!
This is a place where everybody is welcomed to grow their skills, learn new things, and build community.
At the end of each term the kids each play their piece with a full professional band, as well as another song with their peers on all the instruments.
I learned piano here, and was able to fully learn it in 2 weeks.
By having the kids learn independently (to play on their own supported by professional musicians) while also learning to play in a band made up of their peers, our son has learned about some of the harder parts of learning an instrument while also learning about being part of a musical team and performing as a group.
I had considered joining a choir for years but never really found a good match for someone like me who doesn’t have any verifiable vocal skills or talent.
They are a welcoming community always encouraging me to be better, enjoy performing, and collaborate with others who love music as much as I do.
For older kids in the “Take the Stage” program, the two concerts are held at The Kay Meek theatre (a real commercial venue) and include live band support for each student for their solo performance as well as a group performance with their cohort.
