A group of lifetime girlfriends took April's one day class and we had the BEST time!
The other makers and April always seem happy to be there and to see what they can create during the session.
She teaches to all levels of experience, adapts instruction based on individual needs, and most importantly, makes sure everyone is comfortable and having a great time.
My experience in the Blackbird Pottery Studio as a beginner in clay experience with hand building and the wheel kept me challenged, frightened (anxious for errors) and happy as I focussed on all the demonstrated tasks.
This was my first time learning pottery and I loved every minute of April’s classes.
