Hintonburg Pottery

We acknowledge that we do our work on the traditional unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishnaabeg People, who have lived on this land since time immemorial. We commit to honoring an approach of cultural humility and recognize that reconciliation and decolonization are not metaphors, but actions that require an ongoing and unwavering commitment to social justice and equity.

Creativity & process were valued over product & the class size allowed the instructor to provide a really supportive experience for everyone.
We were able to create as many objects as possible in the time we had and then choose our favourite.
I just finished a week beginner intensive program with Nicole at Hintonburg Pottery.
Classes are expensive but good value considering UT covers all your materials, instruction and approx 5-7 peices
Brought a small group of high school students to learn and create with pottery.
She guided us to create unique mugs and made the process seem very easy.
A lot of pottery classes to choose from, however, unfortunately the classes are a bit overpriced.
The class size for the one night class was perfect for getting to have one on one help when needed but also had time to have some independence on experimentation and learning on your own.
Everyone i met was welcoming and the class underway looked like fun.
Learned so much and had a great experience overall.
